Zaffron is the culmination of 5 years of selective breeding, bringing together two of Grounded Genetics’ most proven in-house varieties: Zerberry and Peach Guava.

The Zerberry mother goes back to Zunami, the original Z pollinated by Grounded’s Gelato 41 x Sherb BX1 male. A pheno selected for its bag appeal and balanced terps was then hit with reversed RS11 pollen, and the outlier chosen from that hunt is known for its vibrant fruit and candy profile.

On the paternal side, Peach Guava was developed through several generations of selection involving Pink Limez, Taco Colada and Key Lime Guava, specifically for its resin production, washing potential and exotic fruit nose.

Suited to indoor and outdoor growing, it flowers in 8 to 9 weeks with a medium to high yield.

Expect intense exotic fruit aromas layered with sweet candy, tropical guava and creamy confectionery undertones. Its terp profile, visual appeal and resin output suit flower and hash lovers alike.
